Ship’s Log No. 009 — The Tide Is Starting to Shift

Spring has been dragging its boots this year.

The wind still cuts. The harbour still looks cold. The markets are only just starting to stir. But out here on the East Coast, we know better than to wait for perfect weather before getting moving.

You read the signs.
You feel the shift.
You watch the horizon.

That is where we are now.

At Rising Tide Tea, this season feels like the start of another chapter — slow to arrive, maybe, but full of promise. Mother’s Day is on the horizon. Market season officially docks in May. The city is waking up. And with it comes that familiar feeling that something new is beginning to take shape.

That is what rebirth looks like here.

Not polished. Not picture-perfect. A little raw. A little stubborn. Hard-earned, like most good things on the East Coast.

That spirit is part of everything we do.

East Coast Tea, Reimagined was never just a line. It is the work. Taking old rituals and giving them new life. Building something rooted in history, but made for where we are headed next. Crafting tea that carries story, place, and purpose into everyday moments.

Because Rising Tide has always been about more than tea.

It is about connection.
It is about ritual.
It is about showing up — for our markets, our city, our people, and the kind of future worth building together.

So while spring may be off to a slow start, we are not standing still.

We are watching the tide turn.
We are getting ready for the season ahead.
And we are heading into it with fresh energy, grateful hearts, and a few new things on the horizon.

The kettle is on.
The docks are waking up.
And this next season is starting to come into view.

Wanting a bit more edge, here is an alternate closing swap:

The tide is turning.
The season is coming alive.
And we are just getting underway.
